Lauren Amick is a second year graduate student in the Cognition and Cognitive Neuroscience Program in the Psychology Department at Michigan State. She received a B.A in Psychology from Calvin College in 2013, where she participated in cognitive research on auditory attention, as well as social research on the effects of forgiveness. In addition to Psychology, Lauren also has a background in music, and previously studied flute performance. She is broadly interested in pursuing research on perception of rhythm and timing.
