TAP Lab

General

The TAP lab has a general conference room, a waiting area, three testing rooms for behavioral experiments, and an adjoining room for student office space.

Experiment Rooms

Rooms 55B and 55C are the primary rooms used for experiments. Each contains a Dell computer running E-Prime software that uses a serial response box to collect answers and reaction times from participants.

Child Friendly Room

Room 55D is designed for experiments that involve children’s participation. It is equipped with child-friendly furniture and decor.

Portable EEG system

The portable EEG system uses a high-impedance Biosemi ActiveTwo system (BioSemi B.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands) with 64 pin-type active electrodes and ActiView acquisition software. The system is supported by the Clinical Psychology Area and is used for a variety of studies spanning clinical and cognitive research.
